Forward-thinking brands such as Atlassian, Arrow Electronics, Trimble, Autodesk, Stripe, Samsara, TaskUs, Ripple, Medallia, Compose[d] Creative, and Brooks Running have embraced Ever.green's high-impact Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) as an innovative alternative to spot market RECs and traditional VPPAs.

In early 2023, Ever.green partnered with Clearway Energy to revitalize an aging wind farm in Big Spring, Texas. Originally launched in 2008, the Ocotillo farm faced decommissioning due to aging equipment. Clearway Energy's refurbishment of the 55 MW wind farm involved upgrading generators and turbine drive trains across its 26 turbines, nearly doubling its generation capacity and extending its operational lifespan by 10-12 years.

Ever.green's REC contracts are offered at meaningful prices for 5-10 year terms and include an attestation of additionality, ensuring the REC revenue materially impacts project financeability. This message resonated with a diverse group of buyers eager to maximize their sustainability impact. Ultimately, fourteen buyers from various industries, including tech, retail, real estate, carbon credit platforms, agencies, and venture capital, joined together to help make this project happen.

The ability for small companies to participate, with contracts starting at just 1,000 RECs annually, democratized access to high-impact RECs.

"Until recently, a small company like ours had no ability to purchase high-impact RECs unless we were as large as Google, Apple, or Amazon," noted Jason Parkin, President & CCO of Compose[d] Creative.
