A renewable energy certificate (REC) is created every time a clean energy project generates one megawatt-hour (MWh) of electricity. Buying RECs is how companies formally account for renewable energy, and it's the mechanism Microsoft uses for its supplier CFE program.
Most RECs are bought from projects that already exist. Ever.green's are different because they come from new projects that needed committed buyers to move forward, which means your purchase is tied to adding new clean energy to the grid.
That's why Ever.green is a Microsoft and LinkedIn-approved CFE provider and why purchasing through Ever.green satisfies your disclosure requirement.

What information do I need to get started?
We need your annual electricity consumption, if you have it. If you don't, leave that field in the quote form blank and we'll help you figure out the right amount.
What's the minimum purchase?
The minimum is 5 RECs on a 10-year prepaid contract. If you're unsure how many RECs your consumption requires, share your annual electricity usage with us by filling out the quote request form above or emiling us at linkedin@ever.green.
How long does this take?
Timing is entirely dependant on your internal review process. Ever.green can share a quote based on your indicated volume requirements within 48 hours.
What if my electricity consumption grows?
We recommend procuring just slightly above your current needs to account for your company's growth.
Do I need to work with a carbon inventory partner before purchasing?
No. If you already work with a carbon inventory partner, they can help you determine the right quantity to purchase. If you don't have a partner, you don't need one to get started. We'll help you size the purchase based on your estimated electricity consumption.
